Before you take the next step with your Knee Program journey it's incredibly important to take the time to identify the level you will be working at. These levels have been created after years of working with people at all levels of physical function. One thing we have discovered in this time is that it is of utmost importance that people work at a level that is most appropriate for them. All too often we see the consequences of people doing too much activity that is not suited to their current level. So please, we strongly encourage you to find the level that is most appropriate for you, using the descriptions below & diligently following the one that sounds most like you.

the KNEE PROGRAM LEVELS

FOUNDATIONS

As a foundations level participant you are working on regaining the baseline muscle activation and movement required to do your day to day activities more comfortably.

LONGEVITY

At this level you have the ability to do everyday activities but things like stairs, prolonged walking or squatting down are a problem. You will be focusing on getting stronger and building your range of movement.

LIFESTYLE

At the lifestyle level you are strong enough for ALL day to day activities. But you want more. When you play recreational sports, go hiking, run around with your kids/grandkids you feel limited or sore.

Course Curriculum



Important Information


Keep in mind that many people are able to perform activities that are incredibly active (i.e. tennis, hiking, running) with very poor control of their body. It is not uncommon to see people who have been active their whole lives have very poor control of their body.


What you may find during your program is that things are quite easy & quite simple for you. This is good. Our aim here is to reprogram how your body moves by practising how you move perfectly. Once we do this, we can go about strengthening the right muscles & making sure you are able to move pain free for good. Before progressing up to the following level, we would advise a second run through of the last few weeks of the program the same level so you have several weeks of consistent training at the highest level most appropriate for you.
